hi,
I have just started to using forscan and when I connect to the adapter OBD2 port of my car it works fine but after about 20 to 30 mins I would try to reconnect the adapter it comes up with an error message says "No adapter found, please check connection and try again". also doesn't matter what I do from here on it doesn't connect so my question is that do I have a problem with my OBD2 port connection or is my firewall on my PC?
no adapter found, please check connection and try again

Re: no adapter found, please check connection and try again
I also have this problem. The OBD link software shows that I have connected to the truck but when I try to connect using FORScan I get the "no adapter found. Please check connection and try again" message.
A couple of weeks ago I somehow managed to link in and have it work but I haven't been able to successfully connect again. It's 95 degrees and high humidity so it's unbearable to sit out in the truck and experiment with it.
