Ford Fusion 1.4lt 2004, serial automatic transmission

Hello,
I am having trouble with the automatic (serial) transmission of my Ford Fusion, year 2004, 1.4lt gasoline engine (type of engine is FXJA). The car either does not start (displaying a yellow warning sign of a gear with an exclamation inside it) or if it starts, when it goes to change gear, it fails with the same warning light, and so the car stops.
My question is, is there a device (OBD) to read, locate and display the exact failing part of the transmission, so that I can find the appropriate replacement part and repair it?
Any suggestions for such devices known to work with the specific car and transmission?

You can use Forscan to read the code. It will show you all the details you need to fix it.
