So I recently retrofitted the factory perimeter active anti-theft system to my 2006 Mustang GT that originally didn't have that option and successfully enabled it in the as-built data after a lot of trial-and-error but am running into some problems testing it which leads me to an overarching problem:
When I enable the "Control" PIDs in Forscan under "Read PID Data" (the little greyed out sliders button) and select control PIDs like "IS_SENSE" or "ALL_LOCK" or honestly most Control PIDs related to the SJB/GEM they simply don't activate. The same goes for the PCM where a small number of control buttons will actually do something (even tried out manually changing spark advance while the engine is running...works but would not recommend

). Is this simply functionality that is not fully available yet or is there a workaround? It's important to me because often the Ford Service Manual will say to activate certain functions using a VCM under the Pinpoint Tests such as "Trigger the SJB active command ISM ACTIVE ON".
BTW I am using either the old OBDLINK MX Bluetooth or a VCX Nano if anyone thinks the hardware could be an issue.
