I use a USB Link 2 in bluetooth mode for a lot of scanning, service functions, and programming. The only thing I've found is that it doesn't support FEPs programming, but otherwise it's my go to adapter mainly just because it's my only wireless adapter at the moment.
If you require FEPS, vLinker FS is very cheap & good. Scanmatik is a really good J2534 cable with FEPS for OBDII programming & lots of bench programming capabilities. GPT connection etc
