Hi, everyone.

First want to say big thank you to @fordsmax471 and all contributed to this thread.

My feedback in brief.

Car - Ford S-Max 2.0 TDCi 2016 PowerShift
I live in Bulgaria, but the car was bought from Italy.

My original keys are part number DS7T-15K601-DD and I've bought this one
CN18093 HS7T-15K601-ED/DS7T-15K601-EF Smart Remote PROXIMITY Key 433.92MHz FSK Transponder for Ford
from aliexpress ( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002 ... f19cNj8Cih )

Followed all the steps described here on the thread.
Successfully managed to add new key.
Unfortunately I have to change RTM settings since new key worked only in backup slot.
After change of RTM new key is able to lock/unlock and start the car, old keys work only in backup slot.

I did all changes in IPC and BCM modules with Forscan.
Reset all 3 modules.

But Remote start not working!

Tried with press lock button once and than double press 2x - no success.
Only double press 2x - no success.
Nothing happens!

I reread the whole tread and see that fordsmax471 mentioned something about enable remote start in IPC menu with buttons on the left of steering wheel
but i have no such menu in IPC panel on the dashboard.

Any ideas will be highly appreciated.

P.S. Someone mentioned the car battery is important, i am not sure how to check this, battery seems to be fine, since i have no troubles starting the car normal way even in cold weather now ( around 0 degrees )
P.S.2 Auto Start/Stop is disabled via forscan if this is of some importance.

EDIT: After Remote Start enabled in IPC menu. Option For "Remote Start" in Instrumental Panel appeared . Once Enabled everything works as expected, Remote start is working!

Hi all, so I’ve been using remote start a bit in the cold weather, very useful to clear the screens. A couple of issues though….

Main one is the alarm goes off occasionally while the car is running. So I haven’t gone to it or opened the door and locked it again, just hit lock and start on the key to get it running. Does anybody have any ideas how I can stop the alarm from sounding as I leave for work at 5am and don’t want to upset anyone.

Also, everything else works fine except my heated seats. Again,
Does anyone have any ideas that could point me in the right direction for a warm ass in the morning.

I don't have alarm, but I have similar behavior with the seats. I'd be interested in the solution ideas as well.

The seat and steering wheel heating does not turn on remote start for me, although their option in the RS menu is set to Auto in the IPC. I tried with RS Climate control settings option both in Auto and Last settings selected. The external temperature was around 0°C.

As an update to this I have been setting the alarm to reduced when I know I'll need remote start early in the morning. This has stopped the alarm from going off, but it would be good to sort it in a way so I don't have to keep changing it back if I need to go back to the car for something.

Hi Guys, I have a little question.
Car: Mondeo 2016 EU
I bought from aliexpress this key CN18093 434.92Mhz.
Someone said, that the original keys and the remote start key will work, if the frequency is the same, but I need to change in rtm modul to work, but than the 2 original keys don't work. Did the guy send me the wrong key or is this a fortune things .

sorry for english, i use google translate. I performed the procedure and after various problems to configure the new key, it always gave me a programming error, until I then reset the 3 modules and then the programming went successfully. I just have to change the RTM module from 1 to 2, isn't there another solution? so I avoid losing the 2 keys?

have you already tried a new key, this key opens and closes the doors or not ?

if not, the only option is to change the as built data in the RTM module.

after changing the RTM module if it won't open and close the doors, your new key has the wrong frequency
