2014 ford focus SAW CENTRAL CONFIGURATION one time and have not been able to find it again since in forscan to possible write it back to the car. I had to stop at one point and charge the battery because i got battery to low to complete test. Charged battery and was able to get car started. I guess I'm afraid to try and write this to car again but can someone give a little step by step guidance.

I have been using FORScan for about 4 months now with 5 different vehicles and started off with the recommended OHP adapter with the switch.
While it worked ok with non-CC vehicles, it could not read my 2016 CMAX central config consistently, It could read a 3013 Fiesta CC backup but not write. I also had and tried a BAFX ELM327 BT adapter but it worked even less.
After much research and worrying about wireless BT connection and knock-off FTDI 1170/2120 etc. I got a USB OBDlink EX.
It is much better and I have been able to read and write the CC much better now. FORScan was able to detect and upgrade the firmware on it.
https://www.amazon.com/OBDLink-EX-FORSc ... 081VQVD3F/
The cost was $50 USD for the EX vs $30 for the OHP but is worth the extra cost. Don't even bother with the OHP or wireless adapter.

Now if I could just get hyperflash turned off.

TLDR: if you want to do central config stuff, get a OBDLink EX USB adapter.

Hi,

I saw many people had he same problem as me, but no one replied so I don't know what is the solution. Please help

The BCMii Module configuration block 5 kept failing and I was not able to pass the configuration. (I would like to remove the speed limit and change the central door lock settings).

I am using Windows 10 64bit and ELM327 USB with Hs-Ms switch.

I want to use Forscan for a Ford Transit Jumbo 2.4TDI 2011.

Any idea what could be the problem?

Thanks for your time and help

Regards,
Alex

Hi all,
I bought an extended licence to Forscan but on my Focus IV SW 2.0TDCI 2019, I don't have access to the central configuration. Forscan never prompt any file (ab file or other). I can't add features

I know I'm late, but I made the same mistake: wrong VIN number, do not start with "WFO..." if it is "WF0...".
