Hello,
Purchased the lifetime license a while ago, and recently noticed that it was downgraded to standard.
How can we rectify this?
I no longer se option for lifetime ones, only yearly.
(already generated trail extended license to get ne by)

This should resolve easily by reinstalling the Activation code you received with your "Life time license"(you did treat that email and/or Paid Invoice like gold and save it somewhere safe I hope?)!

There are a few reasons the license might revert back to standard other than expiration, replacement of Hard drive, reinstalling Windows or a sale suspension of a license type IE Lifetime, ( Lifetime should not expire and I have had a FORScan paid One year license revert to standard before it's expiration date after a windows update or after a power outage. Reinstalling the Activation code resolved the issue)

If you have Lost your activation code the only other way is to follow one of the suggestions under Licensing and Installation here: https://forscan.org/support/start.php?l ... ct_id=fsel

Hello
I hope I am correct in this section of the forum. I am using forscan for about 5 years but never needed the extended version. Now I want to unlock the cruise controle on my fiesta mk7 and therefor i need it, but on the request page, i will always get a error message for a invalid name. I don't know why my personal name is not valid  .
Hopefully, someone could help me
Best regards
Daniel

Assuming this is for the two month trial license?

Can't say for sure without seeing your actual name! I have used several different names usually my business name or the company business computer I intend to use it on! Makes it easier to keep track of the Hardware Id's! In fact just renewed one of mine using the computer name!

The only thing I can think of is if you are using a hyphen in the name try typing the name with only a space! Some online servers do not like hyphens for some reason, probably because the hyphen or minus sign means something in IT programming code(It is a program switch used very much in linux/bash/apache programming) but that is just a guess!

Don't know if that helps?

Thank you
I tried to type in different versions of my name and when i didn't use capitalized letters, it worked. Interesting what's the difference for the server but now i have my extended license

Hi

The link to activate the extended license for one year does not work (https://forscan.org/support/show_conten ... o_purchase). Is there another possibility of activation?

Regard

All of the Paid links are gone from all the FORScan Product sites as of this date Oct24/2024 @3:06PM MDT Canada! I suspect the team is having a problem with Receiving Payments from Pay Pro Global again!
Not the first go round with this and it seems to happen with every new bunch of Russian sanctions or Frozen Russian Accounts! Have patience while the team negotiates around this again!

The team usually post a notice but they have not so far so they may not be anticipating a long suspension

The last time this happened the links were active again in about a week here in Canada!

Also make sure you have read this thread where they explain about the Geo Blocking issue as to why Paid licenses are not available in some geographic locations: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=27712

The two Month free license is still Available!
