Trying to get TCU working in an MK3 Focus. I have set the bit in the APIM and performed CCF and set telephone passport to yes.
TCU, app and APIM all complete authorization. The APIM shows the serial number of the TCU. However when using the Fordpass app nothing works. The IPC and BCM are the GWM's on Focus and Escape. Escape comes with no additional hardware.
Initially I grabbed a GWM from a C-max opened it up and removed the terminating resistors and wired it to MS-CAN and I-CAN. Ford pass will indicate door lock status but will not control the locks. Ideally the IPC should be capable of providing GWM functionality.
Anyone have any ideas on a firmware update to the IPC or as-built edit to get this to work?
