Hi,
I'm tempted to try the function "Reset All Adaptations" on the PCM but I'm afraid that I might do something wrong because I've never tried that before on my car and I don't know what can happen or how to procede after it.
Can anyone tell me if it's a safe procedure and what I need to do after it's done?
Thank you very much for your help.

No, it is not safe. It is not recommended to run any service function unless you know what you do and for what.
Module adaptation counts wear and contamination of actuators and systems, as well as other real conditions. When you reset the adaptations, PCM will forget any corrections, and in case of significant wear/contamination the difference in engine behaviour may change very noticeable. Focus Mk1 should remember air/fuel parameters, so you may need to run this function in case of replacement or cleaning certain components, such as fuel pump or injectors, throttle and so on.
