Diagnostics on a 2003 Lincoln Navigator

Post by autoarcheologist »

I just got my PC set up to read codes on our "new" 2003 Lincoln Navigator.

It has a few issues like the driver seat isn't moving, and the heated/cooled seats don't work.

So far with with this adapter I can see the following modules:s

OBD2
Instrument Cluster
ABS
PCM
RCM - Restraint Control Module

I'm glad I was able to pull all the codes. I found a few codes in the IC module, ABS and RCM. I've cleared them all and will see which ones come back.

Next up I want to get to the body control module, but I believe this is on the MS Can bus which I need to modify the wiring to see.

A big thanks to all the folks who built this, so far it's a fantastic tool.

Before I hack up my adapter can anybody confirm if the 2003 Navigator has the MS Can bus?

It may have UBP instead of MS-CAN. But we are not sure. If you didn't send us logs already, please provide content of Vehicle->Configuration and we will check.
