Great to have a Reset Modules option!!!

Post by stimpy88 »

Hi FORScan team, many thanks for the new version.

I just wanted to say that it is great having the new option to reset selected modules on my Mondeo, it's a nice troubleshooting tool to have!

I would like to ask if you plan on adding the rest of the modules to the list, as well as providing a "Reset All Modules" option, instead of doing them all one by one?

I would also ask why you removed the PID that monitors oil quality/diesel in oil in my MK4 Mondeo, it seemed to have disappeared a version or two ago?

Once again, many thanks for the new version, hope to see more Mondeo MK4 specific tools and tweaks soon ;-)

The reset option may be not safe for some modules (for example, ABS), as well as Reset All Modules one, this is why we add them by easy stages

We didn't remove these PIDs specially. Can you please specify exact names of the PIDs?

Well, I look forward to things like being able to reset the acm, Bluetooth module, and hvac modules too. It's something that I like to do after clearing a dtc from a specific module.

I think it was called something like Detected amount of diesel in oil, or something very similar.
