Mazda3 (2007) Mazda6 (2006) Diesel & FORScan Software
I have the above two cars and it would be good to know if I can use the latest version of the software (2.1.18 beta) on both these cars, or should I use specific versions.

Every new version contains all the bugfixes, functions etc that exist in earlier versions, plus new fixes, features and improvements. So general rule is to always use latest officially beta version available on the site (at this moment - 2.1.18). Using older versions may be necessary in some specific cases, for example if new version has a new bug that doesn't exist in older version
