I have a common issue. I have a 2011 Ford Escape XLT 3.0 which came with only 1 key.
I purchased a second OEM Ford Key and had it cut. I am faced with trying to program the key so would like to follow the route of just adding it as an additional key rather than wiping/erasing the current keys on the PCM.I downloaded the Forscan 2.0.8 beta software, connected my Bluetooth OBDII ELM327 reader and there doesn't seem to be any option for access to PATS Key programming.
Anyone have any assistance or ideas how I can get this second key programmed? Why can I not see the PATS key programming option. I have got a registered key for 2 months via the website. Dealer wants $100 or so to do the programming.
Please help!

Re: PATS Key Programming - 2011 Ford Escape
I'm wondering if perhaps it could be the MS-CAN vs HS-CAN. Does anyone know if the PATS programming for 2011 Ford Escape is located on MS or HS-CAN? Might have to change pins on the OBD reader
Re: PATS Key Programming - 2011 Ford Escape
Sorry, PATS programming for Ford Escape 2011 is not implemented yet
Re: PATS Key Programming - 2011 Ford Escape
Hello,
Wondering if it is possible to program PATS keys ford my Ford Escape 2011 yet with Forscan?
I am also considering getting a copy of FORD IDS software but don't know if it will sync up to a ELM327 bluetooth. Any suggestions on how to get these keys programmed without having to go to a dealer or locksmith?

We are working now on PATS functions for US and AU models of this generation, but it may take few weeks to be released. If you are interested to be a beta-tester, please contact support.
