Issue: FORScan will not write to Generic Electronic Module.
Vehicle: 1999 Ford F350 7.3L Lariat 2-wheel drive manual transmission
Steps:
Connect to vehicle
Click on "computer chip" Icon
See two entries for Tire Size and Axle ratio "not configured"
Choose proper listing from the drop down menu
Click on Write icon.
Receive error "Writing blocks failed - incompatible configuration

Seems like dropdowns are not sending properly formatted variable to be written

I had the same with my FF3. FORScan v.2.3.42 with Viaken v3.
Try to delete the profile and let FORScan read all the modules. Then, try to write changes to the configuration in the same session.
It worked for me.

I am having the same issue with my 14 Focus after having to replace the IPC. But I kind of expected to have some hiccups since it's the cluster from a 2019 Escape.

@garymarlin I will try your method so I can get the IPC and secondary central config to mirror the main on the BCM. Also will have to modify vehicle type, VIN, engine, milage, etc...
