RTS Relay

I apologize if the matter has been already discussed before.
In another post somebody posted a few pictures of the RTS relay mod. I wanted to try that mod but i had troubles finding the RTS supply on the Chinese ELM327.

From what i can understand it's supposed to be one of the old COM pins therefore it should be one of the pins on the usb-serial converter. In my case the converter is the PL-2303HX.
Downloading the datasheed the only reference to RTS is pin #3.

Could anybody confirm me that it is the pin i'm looking for? Maybe there's another better spot?

Can anyone point me to the post with the instructions? I think a three letter search gets kicked out by phpBB so I am not getting anything for 'RTS' or relay.
