Hi.
Ford S-Max 2017 - after inserting the pendrive with the update Sync 3 (cyan labs), after a few seconds the message is displayed - update finished, remove the USB and the screen goes black, there is no power in the USB, the Forscan reset does not help. Apim no error code.

Will Forscan updating the firmware or recovery mode help?

remove the cable 5-10 from the battery and also create a new usb correctly and try again

disconnecting the battery did not help, usb has no power

I guess the APIM is bricked.

It was 64G and no Model 20. So CYANLABS Updater should work properly.
You have to deinstall the APIM to get it back to life on a bench.

Regrettably I cannot help in this case.

This module apim in another car has no strategy and calibration.

This is normal if the APIM came from a different car model however you can update it manually if the original software and calibration files are available or you can use UCDS.

can i safely put another good memory board into this broken apim?

Yes if you change the memory board it will normally wake up but i could bee related to eeprom being erased.
