Bought 2nd USB ELM adapter and not sure it will work

Post by steverinaz »

Hi all,

Bought an adapter from an auction site and not sure if it will work. I have an older pro unit that works, but I get an error message that it shouldn't be used for my 2013 F150. Attached is a picture of the unit I bought to replace the older one. Any tips or suggestions?

TIA!

Older "pro unit" .... A good guess is .....

As for obdmonster, it is another chinese clone.

Both these "pro and obdmonster" will work and will likely offer errors.

These are very good and have updateable firmware.
