Valve counter reset at 2007 Transit 2.2

Hello there,

last week I replaced the SCV and PRV on my Transit mentioned above, due to very poor idle and often sudden deaths at traffic lights

I used FORScan for reading DTCs before, a great program!!!

But when I tried to do the PRV open count and open duration learned values, FORScan tells me that this functions are not supported. But on hundreds of "bad PRV/SCV" threads in www, people use FORScan to do this...

Was that due to my free license (just upgraded to the extended license this morning, will test again on the car tomorrow) or did I do something wrong?

Idle is good, but not perfect yet, so I want to reset counters and do a pump learn.

I've had same experience and I have extended version ,
2007 mk7 2.2 tdci 85 transit
Completed pump learn and pilot learn , seems to have solved the 'hunting' symptom but when tried counter reset it's say "unsupported "
Maybe someone from FORScan can elaborate for us ,
In the meantime I'm off to research some more

I had this problem on my 2.2 Transit today and, even with latest version, it still states "not supported"

The problem is in fimware pcm not at forscan. Even with ids the reset does not work. The only solution is to update the pcm and then go to reset.

The best solution for a PCM update is with the dealer equipment.
A PCM update may not even solve the existing problem. Repair the problems / faults first.
As for "pump learn and pilot learn" that function may not be supported on some PCM's.
