2019 f150 limited 3.5l H/O PCM/TCM firmware update

I AM TRYING TO FIND A PROPER DEVICE FOR UPDATING MY PCM/TCM
would like to know if vlinker fs is suitable for this operation or not
not trying to pay or wait for a dealership to do a simple task or spend 1100 dollars on a device
ive seen good feedback from the vcm/vci clones for around 300 dollars
would prefer to not have to spend more if its not necessary
not tuning pcm just firmware update as my transmission is not reading my shift sensor properly but sensor is accessible and operation
believe somewhere along the lines tcm got confused during adaptive relearn and possibly lost last update strategies
there is an update for my vehicle i just would like to know if a cheaper device such as vlinker fs will work or what a good value option would be reccomendations are encouraged
