DCU Reductant Control module

Post by MarkRS9 »

I'm having a few problems with my 2019 mk4 Focus 2.0 ecoblue.
I have connected Forscan and when the module DCU is picked up it says that it has no DTC function, is this right or is there an issue with this module.

I would guess that means this module has no dtc reporting function. On many modern cars there is a reductant module but it often talks via the engine computer. For example in new Citroen vans your deal with the reductant codes in the engine computer.

Most common issues with reductant are crystallisation. Happens fastest with low reductant level and in hot climate. Keep tank filled up as much as you can. If it is crystalised in the system got water flushes the crystals out. Tank, lines and injector commonly get blocked.
