I read many posting on this and have tried EVERYTHING to try and get FORScan to show all modules, specifically the Body Control Module for my 2007 Ford F150. I installed 34 inch tires and need to adjust the tire circumference parameter. I have loaded the latest S/W, drivers, driver updates, tried older version of FORScan, tried multiple laptops (new and older), multiple USB interface cables (vLinker and OBDLink EX), removing vehicle profile...and I get the same result every time. I need help...This is driving me crazy!
The modules that are read:
PCM
OBDII
ABS
IC
RCM
FORScan Does not display all Modules 2007 Ford F150

Well You can stop driving yourself crazy with this because there is no Body control module(BCM) as such in these Mid to 2000(2003/2004 up to ~ mid 2009) Model Year Trucks! That List is exactly what should be expected from both the EX and the vLinker FS!ferrerpa wrote: Fri Mar 28, 2025 3:21 am I read many posting on this and have tried EVERYTHING to try and get FORScan to show all modules, specifically the Body Control Module for my 2007 Ford F150. The reason is because there is another network on these trucks called UBP(Uart Based Protocol) that FTDI Based adapters (ELM327 type) cannot access(It was not for lack of The FORScan Team trying Back in version 2.3.09)!
FORScan can access and read this network but they could only make it work(starting with 2.3.09/2.4.02) with a FORD VCM2! The closest thing to the BCM on these trucks contained in the UBP network is the VSM or Vehicle Security module which contains the Lock and RKE functions(door Pad Code, Fob programming etc.)
DO Not despair how ever as the above has nothing to do with the Tire size change you have started out to do as Tire size settings(RevsPer mile/KM Calculation) are contained in the PCM VIN ID Block in these trucks!
If you have the vLinker FS and a Paid license you are part way there already!
This process will require FORScan version 2.4.17Beta(Currently available at the private Beta test thread to Paid License members only)! Please read the Tutorial also available at the same thread as this is not a simple process on these trucks! It will also require Downloading some Calibration files and if lucky FORScan may have them in their paid database(Likely .phf extension)!
This process is not for the faint of heart and be prepared with the truck close to power(and WIFI or better Ethernet for file download while in the truck) so you can have a charger or power supply on a good fully charged battery(this process can take a minimum of 15 minuets to complete in my experience)! As it involves a complete erase and rewrite of the PCM at the Firmware/Calibration level there is a risk of "bricking" the PCM(Less now with 2.4.17 than when I did this process with 2.4.11) but have alternate transport available if this is your daily drive just in case!
Attached are the Network tree from my 2005 F150 showing the UBP network also the Firmware Programming from the same F150 which will be the same in your 07! the Image showing the Firmware process is from my 05 F150. The Red Icons represent the Files that will need to be downloaded and the bottom file is the Asbuilt(In this case I already had it in the FORScan calibration folder)!
The VIN ID block( PCM ID block is an entry in the PCM configuration and will refer you to the process in the third image during programming) is from my 2010 Fusion(I did not save one from the F150 apparently) but it is identical to the F150 and should be the same as yours(the Tire size calculation setting is circled)!
Hope that helps you to stop the craziness?

- This setting opens a calculator for a "revs per Mile calculation. the F150 is similar!
