PSCM "locked" with dtc u3000

Post by olenylende »

Hi all, my first post here

Got some problems with our car earlier this week, happended suddenly with no indications before.
Basically the pscm went into u3000 in a roundabout and threw codes C200D-49 and U3000-49.
So I started research and found this forum/software.
I started reading on how to update the firmware and did that last night, there was only one version for it and no never version.
So i tried to force write but did not change anything.

Does anyone have any tips to get the module out of U3000? From what i found the firmware is basically "locked" and
no ordinary scanner/tool etc will be able to delete the code. I have found some info on MHH but i think they unsolder the eprom to
read it in a chip burner and then put it back with modified/cleared firmware.

I was hoping to get it out of the U3000 to see if what i have done to it has fixed the problem.
Anyone got a tip or solution?
