Recently took delivery of a to me new ford transit 250 from 2020.
Ive borrowed a friends computer with forscan extended licence to set a few things strait for where I live (netherlands europe). After the initial getting to know forscan and changing some wanted settings i also discovered some problems with the van.
I have a sync3 non nav small screen that i was planning on doing a retrofit for an 8” ford ecosport one. But I can not access the settings menu because the settings button does not respond. Also the 4” screen shows the information only partly. The text that comes up is only half visible.
I have two trouble codes
B10AB:00-0A. And B1600:11-0B
The first is for keyless entry (witch i dont have on the van)
And the second is for a faulty usb #3 short to ground.
The van came with 4 keys and i suspect two of them being non ford original.
Im confused how to go about this.
The van drives normal and the keys all work and unlock and start the van.
Somebody can advise how to deal with the problems.
Searching this site brings me information about pats related issues but im not sure if that is the correct path since the van key do work.
