switching off to save battery?
Is there a setting in the BCM which decides when the BCM switches off all the electrical accessories? On my Ford Transit Custom, the rear load area lights switch off after just a few seconds, even though the battery SOC is still over 50%? What determines when this switches off? and can this be adjusted with FORSCAN?

Yes, I believe it is time delay based. You can adjust the time delay in FORscan.

Re: switching off to save battery?
Some Fords use the battery voltage to determine when to turn off loads when the engine is not running. Information may be in the owners manual.

It is not uncommon in the older F150 to unplug the BCM, especially following a battery replacemnt. This is not harmful in any way and allows the battery to be charged to full potential so accessory and shutoff power can be used longer.
