Reflashing possible?

Hi,

I have a DPF DTC stuck in PCM code is P246B. The DPF has been cleaned physically (took it to a professional). Pressure differential is in the 1-5 kPa range now so it should be fine, however the code won't clear and can't be cleared either (when trying to clear the code, two additional codes pop up; P2463 and P24A4, saying soot level is too high, which was very much true as it was heavily clogged prior to cleaning). Reset DPF learned values too but the code just won't clear... I read on other forums that reflashing the ECU can solve this issue. So my question is, is it possible to reflash the PCM with FORScan? Like updating the firmware to the current one, I hope it makes sense. Given stable power supply (both for car and PC) and connection, is there a high chance of bricking the module when doing it?

If all faults have been fixed as you say, & you have a paid licence it gives you access to the private forum where the 2.4.18beta download link is located. If PCM files are available when you try to download them, you could try reprogramming the PCM.

Force rebooting the PCM module solved the problem... No reflashing was needed.
