Ford focus tcm firmware

Alright I've got a 2014 Ford Focus SE. I downloaded the TCM from within forscan, then installed the TCM that I had purchased. After installation of part the information that pops up upon during the scan of initial start up said TCM: UNABLE TO READ DTC. I then created a new profile and now the TCM does not show up at all

remove the battery cable for 5 minutes and try again

I figured it out. The top connector is busted so it didn't seat properly
