Convers+ U0140
Convers+ U0140
Hello! I need some help. I installed a Converse+ unit (post-facelift version) in a 2010 Ford Galaxy (pre-facelift). Everything works fine, except that there is a constant U0140 error code and the IPC modules are not accessible. ChatGPT says that the 2010 Galaxy has an HS-CAN and MS-CAN network, while the post-facelift Converse+ communicates on an HS-CAN2 network. Therefore, it recommends that I reconnect pins 12 and 13 to pins 6 and 16. This will return it to the old network, and I will be able to see the IPC modules and the U0140 error code will disappear. What do you think? Could this really be the problem? I don't want to ruin the clock group.

Unfortunately, I don't know. I took it to a guy who has done this many times in our country without any complaints. He installed it with some custom modifications.

Re: Convers+ U0140
Bit confused, in your initial post you say you installed the converse cluster, but then further down state someone else installed it for you?
You also say everythings working as it should but you have a U code and cant access the cluster, well if everythings working as it should why would you need to access it, or be aware a U code is present?.
Leave it alone tinkering will only cause more issues or brick the cluster as suggested take it to the guy who installed it if theres an issue let him sort it out.
