Fuel System Details
Fuel System Details
On a 2020 F150 3.5L ecoboost, I'd like to see real time data on the fuel pump inside the tank as well as the pressure in both fuel rails. The pressure for the high pressure rail (direct injection) and the low pressure rail (port injection). So far I'm only seeing (FRP) Fuel Rail pressure, (FRP_DSD) Fuel Rail pressure desired, and (FLP_DSD) Low Side Fuel Pressure in the PCM. I'm probably not interpreting these PIDs correctly, but they don't seem to show exactly what I'm interested in. Shouldn't there at least be 2 separate PIDs for the 2 fuel rails?

Re: Fuel System Details
Yes,2 pids FRP is high side at around 2000psi at idle & FLP is low side at just below 80psi at idle
Re: Fuel System Details
Thank you. That definitely helps. However, the PCM reading in Forscan seems to only display the desired low pressure FLP_DSD. The actual real time reading FLP seems to be missing.
Re: Fuel System Details
Actual pressure may be called FLPA
Re: Fuel System Details
Thanks but I don't have that one either.
Re: Fuel System Details
I can tell you this. 2016 Taurus 3.5 Ecoboost. For the longest time there was FLP_DSD and FLP. After one FORScan Lite version update, FLP was gone. I contacted FORScan support and they worked me through finding that FLP was now FLPA. I would contact FORScan support and see if they can help. Follow the instructions @ https://forscan.org/contactus.html
Re: Fuel System Details
Good info. Thanks again!
