PATS

Post by lukbar »

hi,

i own ford fusion 2015 2.0 240km. i wanted to add 2nd my key. since i bought this car in Poland (originally came from USA or Canada) and i own currently only 1 mykey. bought 2nd key from Ali with 902Mhz. the numbers from mykey were similar to what i have on 1st (original mykey).

when enterring Forscan->PATS i receive an error "unexpected answer from Forscan server.." and "procedure canceled". can you explain me what i'm doing wrong?

FYI
I own a 2017 Escape S 2.5 and have programed a second key with Forescan. I do NOT have a VSC. I purchased the vehicle with only 1 key. Bought an uncut key on ebay (correct transponder #) had it cut and added key with forscan. Two weeks ago I replaced the orginal BCM (because of parasitic draw) and when attempting to program the existing keys for replacement BCM forscan gave an error of Suspect incompatible key. After 2+ hours of digging around I found the PATS 5 amp fuse was blown in the salvage car BCM. Replaced fuse and in 3 minutes I had programed the 2 keys to vehicle and had it started.
Have I just been lucky or what?
Thanks
