I purchased a life time license may years ago when Forscan was coming online. I went to use it today to program a transmission and it told me I need to purchase an extended License.
My active code may years ago was FSEL-LZML-85QV-ZQLN. Or am I pass my lifetime?

Re: License
Did you try reactivating the license by reinstalling that activation code in the Activation field under the wheel Icon? Hopefully by telegraphing that code on this forum you have not had a number of people steal it and you get the "Number of Activation's has been exceeded" error because you just posted it to the whole world!Bob wrote: Thu Feb 05, 2026 2:50 pm I purchased a life time license may years ago when Forscan was coming online. You should be safe if the that code was still listed as active at the FORScan license server and you have not changed any computer hardware(New Hard drive and windows install as an example) that has changed the Computer Hardware Id that activation code was tied to!
The License activation process has changed slightly(Activation can now be revoked/uninstalled without contacting support by uninstalling the code/Key within FORScan) with the release of version 2.3.69 and 2.4.21 so it is possible that some older licenses will need to be reactivated after installing the latest version!
Do not know for sure but it is a possibility!
The Support for Licensing issues can be found at one of the topics at this link: https://forscan.org/support/start.php?l ... ct_id=fsel! Official Support is not provided on this Forum!
Just some ideas you may try? Posting that code naked, for any one to grab and use, being as it was supposedly a lifetime code, on this forum was not a good idea!!
Re: License
I am having a similar issue, I upgraded my Toughbook early last year from a MKIV to a MKVIII... I transferred the SSD from one to the other to retain the Software collection I have but I have just discovered that I do not have Forscan extended license on either of the Toughbooks now
I figured when & if the time came I could either repurchase to suit or cancel the original & reinstate it on the newer machine... Ooooops!!
