First of all, thank you for the excellent diagnostic software. I would like to submit several feature requests that could significantly improve usability and advanced diagnostics:
1) Android Auto / Apple CarPlay Integration
Support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay would allow users to monitor selected PIDs directly from the vehicle's infotainment screen.
This would improve real-time monitoring while driving and increase both safety and usability.
2) Live Data CSV Export Improvement
When exporting live data to CSV (livedata.csv), only PID names are included.
It would be very helpful if the PID description field could also be added as an additional column in the CSV file.
This would greatly improve post-analysis in Excel and make logs easier to interpret.
3) Expanded Service Functions
Adding more advanced service functions (especially for modern diesel engines – DPF, EGR, oil pressure control systems, adaptations, calibrations and reset procedures) would significantly enhance diagnostic capabilities.
4) Built-in Translation Feature
An optional in-app translation feature (for example Google Translate integration) would help non-English users better understand technical descriptions, service functions and error messages.
5) Live Data API / External Integration Support
Providing an API, WebSocket output, or another external interface would allow users to stream live PID data to third-party applications.
Even a local TCP/UDP stream or REST API would be extremely useful for advanced users.
This would enable custom dashboards, advanced logging systems and integration with Android Auto solutions.
These improvements would make FORScan even more powerful for both professional and advanced users.
