P161B fault code after ABS replacement.

Hello, im quite new to FORScan, and i was primarily using it for logging cars.

Now i have a situation where i need to replace a ABS module in a Ford C-Max 2015 1.5L.

I have ran the Factory as built coding, did ABS reset. no fault codes in ABS. But P161B in PCM. I have purchased also extended license to see if the Beta version would have something that would help me but i dindt succeed. Anyone had this issue?

I have seen youtube videos where people had a option for ABS configuration, where they could input the VIN number. that option is not available in my list, and i cannot find such option. Any pointers on how to solve this?

I even tried updating the ABS module, but sadly without any change. in the module list ABS still shows old VIN.

Hi im also new to FORSCAN AND I changed abs（second hand) on the 2018 c-max2 1.5tdci.
now it's the same problem, I did abs as-built data write and abs Module initialization and Longitudinal/lateral sensor calibration. now ABS no any error code.
but a new code P161B:00 is here, and the cant start the car. I check on the internet. some sound said need do PATS Matching/Relearning/Programming， and I just buy the extended license want to try, because I try 2 month free license yesterday and I am being told that secure access has been denied, and I am unsure if this is related to the license.
But I've already bought it, so I plan to try it again tomorrow. I hope it works.

Yes you need to do a parameter reset from the PATS menu

Dera All, I have a similar situation. Ford Focus Mk4 (2021) after ABS module replacement (used one). Did already VIN change and as-bild configuration loaded but the P161B is stil there and car want to start. Unfortunetaly I don't have any "parameter reset" in POTS programing menu. I did keys erese/programint - it went oki but the code is still. Don't know what else I can do Can anyone help ?
