Hi,
Im at lost here and need some suggestions. I have a 2020 f350 6.7 l dually that is tuned via ezylink. The truck ran fine until I try to change some settings in the ForScan. Stupid me, I didn't save the original as built data prior to changing the settings. On a few settings, I changed the setting back to load as built data from the options that was available in the program. I shut the truck off. Later on that night, while trying to get dinner, I turn the truck on, it cranks, no CEL or reduced power mode but the throttle is dead. I can change gear and am able to coast at 3-4 mph if I put the transmission in drive, but there's no throttle at all when i press on the gas pedal. I try hard reset by taking off the battery cable. connect negative to negative. throttle relearn and the pedal is dead.
I gave up and get it tow to the shop. The shop try to bring everything back to factory settings using ford FDRS. I reload the tune and the pedal is still dead. When the tech try to use command function with his scanner to increase the throttle, the truck shut off. Any clue? Could my pcm file be corrupted? Is the PCM repairable? will a new PCM fix this issue?
HELP!
Dead throttle after forscan adjustment
Re: Dead throttle after forscan adjustment
It might help to know exactly what you changed. Also, you should load the factory as built data from motorcraftservice.com.
