remote key fob won't work after adding via PATS

Hey, I have added a new Key to my Ford Transit V363 via the PATS procedure. Starting the car with the new key works without problems, but using the remote key fob to open/lock the doors does not work. Is this something I need to program separately? I have found contradicting information in the internet, some saying I need to add it via a RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) configuration and some others say it is configured via the PATS procedure. But I cant find any RKE procedures in BCMii or PCM config. Any Ideas? It could also be that my remote key fob is not working because it is not an OEM key but instead a 30$ key from amazon.
