Is it useful to have a thread to suggest potential new features that could be included in FORScan?
There's a couple of things that I have thought of that FORScan would be very capable of:
Sound recording so that you can listen to vehicle noises whilst replaying the log files.
Assisted injector leak off testing. When I tested my injectors I used FORScan to check when my fuel rail got up to 50C and then used it to try and control the revs to be close to what Delphi recommend. It was tough to get the timings and revs right but a lot easier than using my foot on the accelerator would have been. Delphi say to rev for 30 seconds with the accelerator held at 3800 rpm followed by: 30 seconds at idle followed by: 30 seconds with the accelerator held at 3800 rpm followed by: 30 seconds at idle followed by: 30 seconds with the accelerator held at 3800 rpm followed by: 30 seconds at idle. I imagine FORScan could be really helpful for injector leak off testing if it could hold the revs at the right level for you.
