Mazda Key programming

I have a 2006 Mazda 6 and the locksmith was telling me nobody but Mazda can program a key. They can clone my current key, but they keep the programmable key too. Can FORscan program mazda keys?

to answer my question.. no FORscan will not program Mazda keys. Now I have a spare door key. :D
