Failure to load all values in IPMB module

Post by breakers28 »

Was making changes to my 2016 F150 XLT (USA truck) today and made a backup copy of all modules. Noticed an error when reading the IPMB module:
(OK) [11:18:49.493] IPMB Module configuration (AS BUILT format) has been started
(OK) [11:18:52.170] Read block #1
(OK) [11:18:52.260] Read block #2
(OK) [11:18:52.325] Read block #3
(OK) [11:18:52.381] Read block #5
(WARN) [11:18:52.391] Reading block 6 failed - too large for As Built format
(WARN) [11:18:52.402] Reading block 7 failed - too large for As Built format
I'm using Forscan 2.3.12 Beta. I have previous backups of this module which include Block 6 and 7 being read successfully (includes 7B1-06-01 thru 7B1-06-103 and 7B1-07-01 thru 7B1-07-103). The current version of Forscan only displays Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 5. Is this a known issue or has something changed in the latest release of Forscan? I recently updated to the latest release and now noticed this problem in the IPMB module.

Also notice there is no block #4. However, I don't believe I've ever seen Block #4 read for the IPMB module.

I received the same error on a 2017 F150 King Ranch. I assumed it might have been something the dealer did when they were adding things. Good to know it might be a software error.

I cannot find the reply I had received on this or I'd repost it here.... basically I was told these (block 6 and block 7) are not part of the baseline and should rebuild themselves. So, this is not a software error and there is nothing to fix. At this point, I don't really know what these values are or what they do, but seems like we should not be concerned.

Bloc 6 and 7 are the Focal Center and Homography Calibrations of caméra I have a 2016 F150 Lariat with 360 degrees camera and I'm able to upload these two bloc.
The part number of my IPMB GL3T-19H423-AD
Initiale calibration files GL3T-14F017-AE = No bloc 6 and 7
Update calibration GL3T-14F017-AG the new bloc appear and screwed up my camera calibration.
Now I need to test with somebody who can upload the As-Built with the same calibration files as me with 360 degrees camere Crew Cap 6.5 feet box and can dowload in min to know if it's true.

The link came from Cyanlab https://cyanlabs.net/asbuilt-db/ipmb-20 ... -database/
