Do i have to backup all modules "as built"

Do I have to back up all modules or jst the ones I am going to change? What is the procedure to back up the "as built" configuration?

did you ever figure out if you can backup ALL modules in one swoop ?
Im getting ready to start working on my new truck and id like to back everything up.
