2012 focus traction control

Are there any plans to include an option to disable traction control? I have an S model so I don't have the buttons and display that other models have to allow me to do this. Since other FF models allow this I don't think it should be a problem.

You are probably right, but at this moment there is no such option available, and we also have no information on how to do it using a scantool.

if you do find a method, there are lots of other folks looking for a something to do this and would be interested. Could you monitor the can bus when a model with the controls deactivates it and repeat the same commands?

FORScan uses special diagnostic protocols. It doesn't try to use or analyse internal communication protocols between modules. So if such a function provided by a module, it can be done (principially). Otherwise, it can not be done.
