Cannot connect with latest version

Have downloader latest version of forscan and it freezes and locks up when trying to connect to car.
Previous version was good and connected straight away and recognised cpu etc and read codes.
Can somebody please advise.
I am using a modded elm with switch which works correctly with previous version.

I'll get logs next time I have a computer
I've tried several different computers and adapters, over the past month or two, FORScan just doesn't see the active COM port, and in device manager, it shows its connected and working. Forcing it to the right COM port doesn't fix it either.

I doubt it's the adapter. I've tried two and Torque Pro and OBDLink works just fine.

This is very odd problem and we need an additional information about it anyway. FORScan is used by thousands of users, in case of such problems with COM port we would get a lot of complaints. Besides, we didn't change anything in this part of software.

If logs cannot be provided, can you please provide some info:

- What is previous version number (that works fine in this configuration)?
- What is the new version number?
- What is the adapter (type, model)?
- What is the OS version?
