Can i use KTS as pass-thru device with forscan? Will it support also ms-can?

We have no BOSH KTS so had no chance to check. But this functionality in FORScan is designed to work with ANY J2534 device found in the system. We tested it on Openport 2.0 and CanTieCar v3 only, but after release v2.2.1 we occasinally tried it with the china clone of Ford VCMII and were very surprized it works just fine.

MS-CAN should work on any Passthru device that supports the J2534-2 standard (as far as we understand, the Bosh KTS should support it).

It should be counted the support of J2534 is rather experimental for now and gives no drastical advantage to user, except much better performance (up to 2 times faster than any white-label adapters like OBDLink MX and ELS27, and 5-20 times faster than fastest of china clones). But the potential of J2534 devices will be explored in future versions of FORScan.

OK will test and report results. KTS is good device but i´ve problems with some Ford ECUS that was not working. For example one Galaxy OK another with same ecu, engine and year not 100% only basic functions. With Forscan always 100% OK.

Hallo, i´ve tested KTS540 with Forscan. Works perfect but only HS CAN bus.
