unable to identify vehicle- New Ranger

I just down loaded and am getting the -"unable to identify vehicle, Please contact developers" with my new 2019 Ford Ranger....Too new??

I did some searching but havent come up wit a solution yet.

I too have a 2019 Ranger, I ordered an ELM cable yesterday with the HS/MS switch. I'll be trying the latest beta, and letting everyone know what happens.

Seems that the latest beta identifies the truck properly, and "works" now we just need some brave souls to start changing stuff and posting about their experience.

Hi. I am having this same problem. I downloaded the iOS app and am using this connector:

But when I click connect it just says "Unable to identify vehicle". I have a 2019 Ranger Lariat 4x4.

I am having this same issue with my 2019 Edge ST, but mine worked before just fine then I had a TSB performed to deal with poor transmission performance. So now it says 'unable to identify the vehicle' 'If the PCM has a custom tune installed, please enter the strategy/calibration.....' I re-installed the iOS app and cleared the cache and still nothing. My Car Scanner App works just fine but I liked the ForScan app to monitor/see charge air temp among other things.

Have you sorted out the problem? You might wanna try the pc version to identify if the issue is with the mobile version.

Android Forscan lite cannot identify vehicle on 2019 Ranger. OBDLink MX+. Windows version connects fine.

Is there a known solution? Or will this be resolved in a mobile version update?
