Calculating pid FRPD

Post by kameleon7 »

Hi
Can you explain me how does calculate pid FRPD in Forscan. Before I start engine it shows 300 bar and after that when engine is running it shows 0 but after 2 minutes shows 300 which is correct value. I checked at my colege's car, the same engine and there shows normally ol the time 300 bar of course on 800 RPM.

FORScan doesn't perform any complex manipulation with PID values before displaying them. PID is read from PCM, raw value is converted to necessary measurement units using a simple formula. If you see 0, and other PIDs in the meantime have correct values and changed as they shoud (not freeze), it most likely means you PCM returns 0 for this PID in these 2 minutes.
