Forscan 2.2.2 Beta not Connecting

Hi Forscan,

Following upgrade to 2.2.2 beta, I could not connect via Bluetooth but could connect to the same car/bluetooth using another software on my PC. I then downgraded to 2.2.0 beta and it connected without any problem.

Just a feedback.

Hi Forscan,

Windows 8.1, Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10 technical Preview latest. All 64bit.

Forscan has always connected with all of them with no problems - I multi boot into the different windows versions and forscan is installed on all.

Bluetooth adapter is ElM327 supper mini Power2.

Forscan 2.2.1 Beta also worked Fine.

This is bit odd, because this part of code was not modified between v2.2.1 and v2.2.2. We recently found a problem with FORScan + Windows 8.1 + min-ELM328 Bluetooth. But this problem doesn't exist in Windows 7 and not related to FORScan directly.

When you have a chance, can you please try the v2.2.2 again, and in case of problems, send us internal FORScan logs as described on Contact Us page?

Hi Forscan,

This time v2.2.2 connected ok on all three windows OS versions. In all three cases I had to remove and repair the mini Bluetooth devices then it worked ok.
