Beta Testing and Development

Post by me144 »

I found your software a couple of days ago and first and foremost wanted to say thanks a million for creating such a powerful tool for no cost to the average user.

I maintain a small fleet of Fords, list included below. I'd be more than happy to test features, tests, pids, etc. being developed for any of them and contribute in any other way I can.

I'm also interested to know if you accept donations for or would otherwise be willing to implement features for particular vehicles, for the right price of course.

99 F150 5.4L Ext. cab 4x4 auto
02 F150 4.6L SuperCrew 2wd auto
00 F350 7.3L Powerstroke ext. cab 2wd auto
99 Ranger 4.0L ext. cab 4x4 auto
01 Ranger 4.0L ext. cab 2wd auto
And one of the girls in the office drives a 06 Miata.

If I can figure out how to create PIDs, assuming that feature is supported, I'm also happy to share anything I concoct.

Thanks for your feedback.

If you experience any problems using FORScan on any of these models, please let us know. If you need a function that is missed, we can add it to our development queue (that is quite big already, so we cannot promise it will be implemented soon).

In the nearest time we are going to create a dedicated forum for beta-testing, it should help to organize this work better.
