Service procedure interrupted

I have an '06 1.6 Focus TDCi with fault code P242F, DPF ash accumulation.

Just tried doing a forced regeneration and it stops at 6% with the message "service procedure is interrupted, please contact developers"

I actually tried some of the other tests which also came back with that message.

Tried searching for more topics regarding this issue, but all I came across was a link to the contact page to e-mail the logs, which I have done. Has anyone here got more information on this? since what I found may have been outdated.

The issue with failed static regen on Focus Mk2 1.6 TDCI in case of DTC P242F is known. Our theory is that the DTC P242F means ash (not soot) accumulation. In contrast to soot, ash cannot be regenerated. So we suspect the DTC P242F blocks the regeneration, in fact. Here is post on our forum from a user who solved this problem:
