Hi all!
I own a 2010 Mazda 3 1.6 MZCD.
The last july I changed the DPF because it was clogged.
A few weeks before changing the DPF I filled the additive fuel tank. Everything was working perfect.
Thanks to FORScan, in November I installed by myself the cruise control switches and activated the option.
Since I activated the Cruise Control (I don't know if it's a consequence or just a case) DPF regenerations started to be more often (actually the DPF regenerates every 60km). After each regeneration I connect with FORScan and I find the P2458 error.
I don't know what to do anymore: the last week I had to fill again the additive fuel tank. I even changed the differential pressure sensor. The mechanic that done all the work said he controlled other things regarding the DPF (as pipes, EGR and others) and everything is ok.
I kindly ask you if do you have any suggestion? It's very boring having the error code and having regenerations every 60km.
In the attachments I added a screenshot of some values read with FORScan while engine on and in idle.
Thank you in advance

Re: P2458 issue on Mazda 3
I have the exact same problem. I will try a static regeneration as soon as my new obd adapter arrives.

The ash content is too high. You cannot burn ash only soot. It may need removing and cleaning.
