Re: Transit Connect 2018: Turn off "Lights on" chime
Hi fcoplo,
thanks for your help!
Did you also try to filter for "light" in the IPC Module config? Maybe it's not a "chime" but some other sort of "warning" etc...
I would need two files from you:
* The IPC Module config file (UCDS/XML)
* The AsBuilt File (ABT) from the AsBuilt Menu

Re: Transit Connect 2018: Turn off "Lights on" chime

I ran a quick compare of the two pictures you sent:
compare.png
Left hand side is adapter No. 1 and on the right hand side is No.2 (ELM327 with switch)
I just went over the information about TRIAL vs ...

Re: Transit Connect 2018: Turn off "Lights on" chime
All chimes messages come from IPC module, look there using the filter "Chimes" , of course in configuration menu (not as built)
I looked into my Forscan to see which options I have.

Every time I connect Forscan 2.3.35 to my vehicle I am asked, if the vehicle detected is the correct vehicle I wish to connect to.
I suspect Forscan to save some information of my ...

I do not understand the reason for the chime sound, because all lights are actually off, even when I have the light switch in "on" position (not in "parking light ...

Re: Battery type question
Hi!
Is this the correct way of disabling BMS?
BMS.PNG
I only have this option "Battery Monitor Sensor" related to the Battery Management in my BCMii configuration menu.
The factory setting was "02 - With Battery Monitor sensor", I changed it to "01 - Without Battery Monitor sensor".
Does my ...

Re: Battery type question
also upgraded my battery to an AGM-type (2016 Transit Connect). I disabled BMS because I don't think it is ideal for an AGM.
Hi there,
I own a Ford Tourneo (= Transit) Connect 2018.
I am also close to a battery change - before this winter anyway!
Right now I have a Varta 80 Ah battery ...
