Re: TRE27 (STN1170/ELM) Adapter does not generate CF frames

It was a problem because of the cheap clones. I've bought an genuine STN22xx adapter (OBDLinkEX) and with it, all works fine and as expected.

Use Forscan on-the-shelf

Hi,
currently one needs to connect to the car in order to use Forscan.
I'd like to use some functions in my simulation bench where i experiment with modules.
How can i get Forscan to fully start and use module programming outside the cars network?
I've tried to simulate ignition HS-CAN messages but ...

Using Forscan to program on-the-bench

Hi, i'd like to change mileage of a Ford Mondeo MK4 cluster with is outside the car.
Forscan is build to "connect" to the car before something like module programming can be done.
Does anybody know what Forscan looks for to find out if it is connected to the car? I've tried to send IGNITION CAN ...

Looking for Ford calibration files

I'm trying to download the following calibration files from the Ford service site, but always get a "file not found" error.
Maybe anyone can tell me how (where) to get those files or provide them to me?

Can new PATS (Euro5 emission car) be programmed?

I know that my car uses a new kind of PATS OUTCODE/INCODE calculation, which can be only done by the dealer (Ford). If i find a way to get a valid INCODE from my OUTCODE is it then possible to proceed with PATS programming in ForScan?

How to do PATS programming on keyless Mondeo MK4?

If i watch the tutorials to reprogram PATS (new keys, new modules, etc.) i found some instructions telling to turn key from OFF into RUN position, keep it there for while and turn back. This seems not applicable with an keyless-go enabled car. What is the procedure there?

Swap BCM (PATS programming) on facelift Mondeo MK4

Hi there,

i'd like to swap the BCM in my car (Ford Mondeo MK4 2011 make) and read that it can't be done with ForScan, is that correct?
And if, how can it be done? What's excactly needed? Anybody here got some experience (not only read elsewhere ;-)?
