After a bit of research I have found that Forscan will not work with this particular car as it is based on the Fiat 500 model, the only way I can communicate with oem software is by using Multieuscan software along with the OBDLink.

I have a 2016 Ford Ka that refuses to connect with Forscan.
My Forscan works fine with other Ford vehicles but will not connect to the Ka. I have the OBDLink EX interface.
I can connect other scanners to the Ka with no issues.
Could anyone suggest why Forscan will not ?

As hueypilot says Autel is a company selling car diagnostic equipment.
For key programming you would need to purchase a scanner which offers this option, they are quite expensive and if it is only to program one time it would be more cost effective to contact a locksmith.

Purchased a second hand genuine Ford remote key fob from eBay , proceded exactly as before with Forscan add key process and both immo and remote now working, so apparently amazon clones can have immo programmed but not remote,some remotes can be added mechanically with ignition on/off procedures but ...

Update on this issue.
I followed all procedures as advised ( erased all keys, reprogrammed all keys) everything works except the keyfob on the new remote (starts engine ok but will not open or close doors) so i am thinking it is an issue with the fob as it is not a genuine Ford key but a replacement ...

I’ll certainly give this a go, my only concern is when doing a full key erase can you re use the keys you have or need to get new un programmed keys. Also apprehensive if procedure fails I’m left with a non starting van.

Well it didnae work. The wiring diagram is nothing like the actual wiring on the van.

Do you think if i connect bl/gn wire from BCM to earth it will fool the BCM to think the circuit is complete ?
